Is A Bmw A Good First Car
My dad wants to buy me a BMW 318i for my first car. I was wondering if you guys have any personal feedback from it. Is it reliable? Is it safe etc. P.S. Where I live in Australia they are applying a new law that new drives have to not exceed a certain power to weight ratio or else they cant drive a certain car. The BMW meets that expectation.
Is a bmw a good first car. I have a 3 Series BMW now with 200km on it and it’s been really Reliable i have my own shop so I don’t spend money on Labour so it’s been pretty cheap for me and I’m 19, a few thing I have had to change is my spark plugs and my starter and some sensors but in total it has been about 290$ in repairs but I’m just buying the parts and doing the work myself but for your first car I would. Some e60s are great, others are a money pit. The e60 was offered with an inline 6, a V8 and a v10. The inline sixes are really good, with the turbo charged ones being the most problematic and expensive to fix, but still not bad. If it's a six, I w... You can get a great price on a used BMW E46, and can choose from many in the market. Why would a car which is such GREAT fun to drive be available at such a reasonable price? Because the operating costs will kill you. * Takes premium fuel and has.
The first car sold as a BMW was a rebadged Dixi called the BMW 3/15, following BMW's acquisition of the car manufacturer Automobilwerk Eisenach. Throughout the 1930s, BMW expanded its range into sports cars and larger luxury cars. Whatever car I get will be my first, so I'm really looking for something safe and reliable. I happened to stumble across a 2011 328i, and once I got to reading about it, I fell I'm love. It seems very safe, easy to handle, and a good car (as smaller cars go) to be in an accident with. I'm 16 and I saw a 2000 bmw 323i for sale for $4000. He just got it serviced, oil changed, and replaced the front window because it had a nick in it. It looks amazing, when I drove it it seemed a bit slow, but it is an 11 year old car. Do you think this would be a good purchase? and a good first car? 18 Good First Cars That Aren't Oppressively Boring First cars usually need to be affordable and practical, but they can also be fun to drive too. Don't stress about buying your first car with.
BMW M3s are great cars, just not good 1st cars. A good 1st car should be safe and average, like a Volvo or a Honda. A BMW sports car as your 1st car is asking for trouble. If you really like BMWs, a regular 3-series would make a great car. Its good for a first car as long as you have a Job or parents who are able to maintain the Hefty maintenance cost and other things. The car its self is excellent but i would recommend going with a 2002-2005 model. The 1999-2001 BMW 320i,325i,328i,330i sedan are different in styles compared to those in the 2002-2005 BMW's. If you decided to buy a car based on your gut feeling and it turned out its quality wasn't as good as you thought it was, then that was clearly a mistake; but other than that you can't really say whether a preference is "wrong" or not. Job interviews are a classic example of a business situation in which first impressions are of great importance. BMW M put an end to years of rumors by announcing it's developing its first electric car. Based on the upcoming i4, the sedan will pack a serious punch, but it won't give the recently-unveiled M3.
I have to agree, if it's your first car you'll likely be doing your own repairs since mechanics are expensive compared to doing your own work on any car. I'd say if you want a BMW go E36, they are super simple to work on and old enough that parts are cheap, both new and from the junk yard. No a BMW is not a good first car choice. You need to be realistic and think how much your 1st car is going to cost you. Insurance premiums on fancy german cars, sports cars, and muscle cars will be hideously high especially since your in the high risk category among all insurance companies. It is not a harsh car especially if you ditch the crappy runflat tires making it a pretty comfortable daily driver as well as an okay long driver. The amount of luxury is okay but definitely good for a first car. It's an awesome, quirky little car to drive. Now, the issues would be keeping it. Anyway, the BMW is a good car. 2012 was the first year of the F30, which is a HUGE improvement over the outgoing E90 3 series. Of the cars you mentioned, I would get either the A4 or the 328i, as both cars have good track records. Newer Nissans really aren't great cars. If you get a Maxima, I would get no newer than 2003.
First or last, BMW is one of the best vehicles in my experience. I got rear ended in my 328I years ago at 60 mph and walked away after being sandwiched into the car in front of me. The girl was putting on make up and I saw it coming so braced myse... So I’m looking for my first car and I’ve seen an offer for a 1997 BMW 318i with perfect interior and exterior and 151,000 miles, for 3K. I’ve always been a corvette or Japanese car guy, so I don’t know much about German cars. Except for that if you don’t take care of them they’ll bite you with expenses. So if you’re a teen, looking for your first car and find a good-condition E46 BMW 3 Series you can afford, don’t hesitate and just buy it. Average Price: $3,000 – $10,000 . bmw-1-series-coupe Most people think that the legendary M1 was BMW’s first M car, but they would be wrong. That honor is actually reserved for the BMW 530 MLE (Motorsport Limited Edition). In the mid-1970s, BMW South Africa wanted to compete in the country’s Modified Production racing series. There was only one problem – they needed a competitive car, …
