Lower My Truck

I have a 83 GMC Sierra. 305 CID, 2WD. I'm looking to lower it about 3 inches in the front and rear. Are I've been looking around for parts to no avail. Would any of you know where I could find some lowering spring for the front, and maybe some shackles or hangars for the rear? Would cutting my front springs leave me with a really rough ride?
